A Fistful Of Iron and Steel

A man stands in front of a group of hungry men, hungry for blood. Their irons are ready as the man is firm in his stance. One hand on his Katana, another on his revolver. 

A fistful of Iron and Steel (or FFIS)  Tabletop Roleplaying game about samurai, honorable soldiers of medieval Japan, and the cowboy, an idealized figure of self-induced justice on an untamed frontier.  

How does it play?

FFIS played with 2 six-sided dice (2d6). Most actions in the game will be made using these two dice. Along with adding any appropriate modifiers. 

Roles

Roles are a building block for how you and your character could interact with the world. The six starting roles are Samurai, Cowboy, Shinobi, Treasure Hunter, Monk, and the Vagabond.

 History of the world

This alternate history takes place in 1880 after the defeat of the Satsuma Rebellion. Many of the samurai that had survived the climatic battle which defeated the rebellion. 

Wanting to live out their lives as samurai without persecution, they fled to many places in the world that would take them, some never stayed in one place. The most common place for them was the western frontier of America.
